Peake Engines Micro stationary steam engine

The Micro is one of the smallest of Ben Peake's creations. It is a simple but exquisitely engineered single acting oscilating cylinder 1/8" bore x 5/32" stroke. It is attached to a brass pillar which is mounted on a wooden base. The flywheel is 1/2" diameter and the whole thing is only just over 1 1/2" high.

The bottom picture on the left is a scan of a "Certificate of Authenticity" quoting serial number 24. As far as I know, however, it is not a limited edition.
