This is a special limited edition of the TE1a, produced by Mamod to celebrate the 60th anniversary of the introduction of the original TE1 in 1963.
A few enhancements were made to this edition. As well as a special blue livery, there is a brass tag slung under the boiler marked "60th" and special wording on the canopy saying "1963 Mamod Limited Edition Traction Engine 2023". There is also a modified scuttle, with simulated handrails, and a bucket attached to the brass tag. In honour of the original TE1, a retro-style lever operated whistle, similar to that on the TE1, has been fitted.
