When I lived close to the museum I was closely involved as a volunteer worker, vice chairman of the Friends and editor of the Newsletter. As a volunteer, I was involved in restoration and operation of many of the exhibits. Unfortunately, I now live several hundred miles away so have little opportunity to visit. However, I hope to return when possible and I seriously recommend anybody interested in industrial heritage to do the same.
