SEL (Signaling Equipment Ltd) & Merit
Signaling Equipment Limited was one of two brand names used by J & L Randall, the other being Merit. The SEL name was used mainly for scientific and educational toys, Merit for general toys. However, a few steam engines were sold under the Merit brand. The Signaling Equipment Limited name came from the morse keys and similar items made and sold during WW2. Established 1941
