About MAJOR
Major is the big brother of Micro and Minor and is made in the workshop of Ben Peak. It is a single acting oscillating steam engine made of steel, stainless steel, brass, copper and a piece of treated pine. Listed below are the specifications of this well proportioned engine:
Stroke Length 12.7mm (1/2 inch)
Bore 6.35mm (1/4 inch)
Flywheel Diameter 36mm (1.42 Inches)
There may be some variation in these measurements as these engines are carefully handmade in small batches.
There's little I can add to that.
The bottom picture on the left is a scan of a "Certificate of Authenticity" quoting serial number 37. As far as I know, however, it is not a limited edition.
