A tiny three wheeled vehicle; described by the manufacturer as a "steam wagon". Typical Lutz Hielscher design with a glass boiler.
The boiler is a glass flask, 28mm diameter x 42mm high. It is heated by a tablet burner, holding half of a small Esbit tablet. Steam is fed through a short pipe to the port face.
The single acting oscillating cylinder is 3mm bore x 7.5mm stroke. It is held against the port face using an O ring instead of a spring. The crank shaft has a 23mm diam flywheel. It has a friction drive to a wheel on an intermediate shaft, which has a drive band to a pulley on the rear axle. The small front wheel can be angled to provide steering.
As acquired, it was not in working condition. The bottom of the vertical pillar had a stripped thread. I have cut off the damaged thread and tapped the bottom for a pair of 6BA nuts. This slightly lowered the pillar, so that I had to shorten the drive band to fit. Other than that, it only required straightening of some of the flimsy chassis members and descaling of the boiler for it to run.
