Probably the most unusual steam engine in my collection - a steam engine built into a walking stick!
The engine, sans boiler, is a simple but solidly built brass and steel engine, mounted on the top of a wooden walking stick, forming the handle. It is a single oscillating cylinder engine, 10mm bore x 10mm stroke.
The open frame is brass, artificially aged, with a heavy brass knob on top. The engine can be unscrewed from the stick and the stick unscrews into three sections.
